NORBAG was founded 31 years ago, and at that time we drew up a set of by-laws; one of which is the following: The specific and primary purpose of the North Redwoods Book Arts Guild is to promote, encourage, and educate members (as well as the general public) about traditional and non-traditional forms of bookbinding and related arts.
For the November workshop Dolores Guffey will guide us to play with "related arts" by having fun with Wow folds and paper. Your choice of papers is entirely up to you. To keep it "book related" you may wish to use pages from discarded books or dictionaries. Sheet music also lends itself to this as well. Paper with color on both sides, or for more contrast, color on one side and plain on the other will all work. The photos below will give you some ideas. Details about the size of papers to be cut for each project will be sent to you when you RSVP. Please note - RSVP Dolores Guffey by Nov. 9 to receive the Zoom link and attachment. Dolores responds within 24 hours of receiving your RSVP. If you do not receive the link and attachment, then she did not receive your request.
