PSBA EXHIBITION Continued

 As mentioned in the previous blog article, the 2022 Puget Sound Book Artists 11th annual members' exhibition continues at Collins Memorial Library on the campus of the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington. PUGET SOUND BOOK ARTISTS MEMBERS' EXHIBITION

The 7th annual Puget Sound Book Artists (PSBA) Members' Exhibition for 2017 is winding down. If you're in the Tacoma, Washington area this would be a great opportunity to see a wonderful collection of artist books by 31 different members. The exhibit will close on July 28. This was the first time a theme had been chosen for the event. Members were asked to "submit books that focus on the beauty and grandeur of the Northwest; books that provide commentary on social issues that affect our communities; or books that evoke a memory, a space or an idea that reflects the Northwest." PSBA Members' Exhibition

The Needle & the Sword: The Early Women's Movement in Twenty-Four Hankies

The Puget Sound Book Artists Sixth Annual Members' Exhibition is on-going at Collins Memorial Library on the campus of the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington. There are 60 works by 38 artists in this exhibit that opened June 2 and runs through July 30. The exhibit features a wide variety of book forms including some that are quite sculptural. There are also some very unique materials, methods of assemblage, and bindings used. PSBA Members' Exhibition

Do you live in the Pacific Northwest or are you planning a visit during the months of June or July? If so, be sure to check out Puget Sound Book Artists’ Fifth Annual Members’ Exhibition. The exhibit is held in Collins Library on the campus of the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington and features 44 handmade books by 28 different artists. Puget Sound Book Artists (PSBA) is a non-profit organization comprised of professionals and amateurs from all quarters of book, paper, and printing arts.
