October Workshop: Gone Batty

Bat Book Workshop with Edge Gerring 




This month, in honor of Halloween, we will create a Bat Book. When folded, it will be 5" long. When opened, there is a tab that opens his eyes. The tab is attached to a slender poem, a little card—whatever you would like.

Tools to bring:
Glue Stick (Edge will bring Aleene's Quick Dry Tacky Glue to share)
1/4" hole punch (Edge will bring one to share) Scissors
Pencil
Bone folder



Materials to bring:
Paper : 6" x 12" minimum size. MiTientes or light card stock for bat, thinner paper for inner color (optional).
1-1/2" wide strip of paper for accordion fold piece, or small paper that will fold to 1-1/2" wide. 


What will be provided:
● Pattern
● Instructions 

● Velcro dots.
